Its durable, non-slip design stays securely in place—even during fast turns, powerful push-offs, and swims without a wetsuit—thanks to a slightly wider, hydrodynamic strap that reduces water resistance.

Engineered to withstand chlorine, salt water, and other pool chemicals, the HRM-Swim stores heart rate data throughout your session—up to 20 hours—and automatically transmits it via ANT+ to your compatible Garmin device¹ once you're out of the water. During rest intervals on land, it also delivers real-time heart rate data to your Garmin watch.

With an average of three hours of use per week, the battery lasts up to 18 months and can be easily replaced by the user—no tools or service appointments required.
